Former Pro Basketball Star Coach joins Inaugural Reach One Teach One Camp in Anguilla
The first-ever Reach One Teach One - Building Bridges to Success basketball camp in Anguilla has secured another top-tier USA basketball coach.
Coach Rodger Farrington, a Bahamian national and former professional player, will lend his expertise to the camp scheduled for July 22nd to 26th, 2024 organized by the Top Hill Basketball Club.
With over thirty years of competitive experience and fifteen years as a certified professional trainer, Coach Farrington brings a wealth of knowledge to the Anguillan youth. His impressive career includes playing for Arizona State University and an eleven-year stint in professional basketball, with starting positions in Japan, Belgium, Italy, and Israel. Coach Farrington is the owner of Reach Basketball, a highly successful program in Arizona that has nurtured numerous accomplished student-athletes. His coaching philosophy extends beyond the court, focusing on imparting life skills such as leadership, communication, mentorship, responsibility, teamwork, and work ethic.
"I'm excited to share my global experiences and knowledge with the young athletes in Anguilla," said Coach Farrington. "My goal is not just to create better players, but to instill valuable life skills that will serve them both on and off the court."
